Job Summary:

The Warehouse Dispatcher Control is responsible for overseeing gate operations, coordinating outgoing deliveries, verifying dispatch documentation, and supporting inventory accuracy. This role serves as a key control point to ensure that all materials moving in and out of the warehouse are properly documented, verified, and aligned with inventory records.Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Deliver professional customer service at the warehouse entrance by welcoming and assisting clients.
  • Review and handle client orders at the point of entry.
  • Prepare and validate dispatch documentation, including delivery tickets, packing lists, and load sheets.
  • Ensure all outgoing loads accurately match their corresponding paperwork before departure.
  • Confirm all required documents are complete and provided to drivers prior to leaving.
  • Check that loaded materials align with inventory records and approved orders.
  • Detect and resolve any discrepancies among orders, loads, and documentation before dispatch.
  • Help maintain inventory accuracy by reporting shortages, overages, and inconsistencies.
  • Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits as required.
  • Coordinate with Inventory and Warehouse teams to verify product availability before dispatch.
  • Report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials to the appropriate departments.
  • Adhere to company policies and maintain compliance with all safety regulations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
  • Able to perform the essential duties of the job.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
Physical and Safety Requirements:
  • Capable of standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures, including hot, cold, and humid conditions.
  • Ability to climb ladders or step stools and work at heights when necessary.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling materials.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Must follow all OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols at all times.
  • Must report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately to supervisors.
