Job Description
We are in search of a Production Associate to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for operating manufacturing equipment and performing assembly tasks to produce commercial-grade chemicals and wet wipes. This role supports daily production operations including equipment operation, quality inspection, material handling, and inventory management. The position requires adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and production schedules while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Operate production equipment including automatic liquid fill machines, cap tighteners, bottle and canister labelers, lot coders, heat shrink tunnels, conveyors, and case tapers.
  • Work on assembly line to assemble products and inspect for quality assurance, performing repetitious tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Complete Work Orders accurately and record information in log books with attention to detail.
  • Label cartons, bottles, buckets, and drums accurately and consistently according to specifications.
  • Use Work Orders to identify, pull, and stage components and raw materials for production runs.
  • Position totes on production lines and safely transfer liquid product between totes and fill machines.
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely in accordance with warehouse safety guidelines and standards.
  • Load pallets, count inventory, and manage material flow to support production operations.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Work with hazardous materials following proper safety protocols and using provided Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Perform facility maintenance duties as assigned to support operational needs.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Production, assembly, or warehouse experience preferred, however entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and schematics with high attention to detail.
  • Prior forklift certification preferred, or ability to obtain upon hire; training and certification provided on site.
  • Proficiency in English language including ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively.
  • Basic math skills including multiplication, addition, subtraction, and division for tracking production numbers and inventory counts.
  • Ability to use, operate, and understand floor scales and gram weight scales.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet production deadlines, and work overtime as needed.

ALL ROLES
  • Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
    1. Repeatedly lift and carry 60+ pounds throughout shift and move 500-pound drums with drum dolly or appropriate equipment.
    2. Load pallets of heavy boxes (60+ pounds) for consecutive hours.
    3. Ability to stand for entire 8-hour shift with frequent kneeling, squatting, twisting, and bending.
    4. Perform job duties while wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
    5. Function in a cold warehouse during winter and hot warehouse during summer

Compensation & Benefits
The pay range for this role is $18 - $20.50 per hour/year. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
