Production Associate- 1st Shift

What You Will Do

The Production Associate is a key member of our Production Team and is responsible for assembling various products to specifications.

  • Follow Employee guidelines and Quality System Regulations as defined by Nissha Medical Technologies practices, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure that customer requirements and industry standards and/or regulations are met.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and act in accordance with NMT's Employee Guidelines and applicable quality standards as outlined in NMT's Quality Manual.
  • Thoroughly read and follow all job sheets, production drawings and Manufacturing Assembly Instructions.
  • Operate production machines at the discretion of the Manager.
  • Responsible for the quality of the product produced.
  • Work with various internal and external Engineering, Quality Assurance, and other support disciplines to perform troubleshooting, data collection and to resolve assembly problems.
  • Abide by all safety and security rules set forth by the company and regulatory agencies
  • Regular attendance is required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

Core Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred but not required)
  • Six months of related experience (preferred but not required)
  • Mathematical skills needed to count products
  • Ability to use basic hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, etc.
  • Ability to work on a computer with various programs to transact products within the production system and complete online training
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions such as Manufacturing Assembly Instructions, Quality Standards, and Standard Operating Procedures
  • The ability to perform simple writing tasks such as recording log entries, lot numbers and dates
  • Good eye to hand coordination required
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Attention to detail to ensure high quality work and detect when there are issues with tooling, materials, processes, and quality

  • Previous related Industry experience in medical device production is preferred

Compensation & Benefits

The expected pay rate for this position is $17.00/hour.
