Description
General Summary:
The Production Associate maximizes store profitability by efficiently working the process, sorting and pricing donation to provide a fresh and full store. This role helps to build skills and change lives in each of our communities.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Uses quality standards to sort donations into outbound containers for e-commerce, salvage, or trash
  • Quickly determines if item is unit priced or tagged with good/better/best price using standard guideline
  • Easily identify brands and high interest items to maximize value in store or through e-commerce
  • Meets 1 touch production goals- HL Donations from door to floor in 15 minutes or 1 SL rack per hour
  • Communicates with material handler to bring product, empty garbage and swap out salvage containers
  • Promptly greets customers when on the sales floor and donors when in the donation center
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following established 5S and safety guidelines
  • Works the process staying in station producing primary donations, as assigned
  • Works the process providing back-up to take in donations or put out product, as assigned
  • Consistently interacting with co-workers, shoppers, and donors in a professional and pleasant manner
  • Consistently perform all duties within the framework of our Core Values
