The Pressroom General Worker role is designed to develop future Press Operators. You'll work directly with printing presses and learn the skills needed to advance into higher-level manufacturing positions. Many of our skilled operators started in entry-level roles just like this one!
What You'll Do
As a Pressroom General Worker, you'll support the operation of flexographic printing presses while learning the printing process from experienced operators.
Responsibilities include:
  • Assist press operators during production runs
  • Prepare inks, coatings, and press materials
  • Monitor coating viscosity and production quality
  • Inspect printed materials for defects and quality standards
  • Help with press wash-ups and changeovers
  • Maintain material levels throughout production
  • Remove waste and keep work areas organized
  • Support safety, quality, and production goals
  • Learn machine operation and advanced production processes
  • Perform general manufacturing and production support activities
