Manufacturing Shop Helper / Production Assistant
Morgan Metals Inc – Athens, AL

$15–$18 per hour | Day Shift | Overtime Available

Morgan Metals Inc is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented manufacturing helper to join our production team. In this role, you will support our machine operators, fabricators, and shipping department to keep our facility running safely and efficiently. this is an entry-level position with excellent opportunities to learn a trade, get cross-trained and advance into a skilled trade.

Compensation & Schedule:

  • $15–$18 per hour
  • Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:45 PM
  • Weekends as needed (overtime opportunities)
  • Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D, Disability, PTO, Holidays

Responsibilities:

  • Material Handling: Move raw materials, parts, and finished goods between production areas.
  • Machine Support: Assist operators bending and machining materials.
  • Facility Upkeep: Keep a clean work area and organized to maintain a safe shop floor.
  • Packing & Shipping: Wrap, palletize, and label finished products for final shipment.
