Job Description:

Seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Japanese/English Bilingual Production Assistant to support daily operations in our manufacturing department. This role works directly with the Production Team Lead and Supervisor to ensure smooth and efficient workflows, help prepare materials, maintain safety standards, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. The Production Assistant will also support basic administrative tasks, equipment handling, and cross-department coordination when necessary.

This is an ideal position for someone with prior experience in a manufacturing environment who is looking to grow their career with a company that values teamwork, precision, and operational excellence.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in assembly, packaging, and inspection of products.
  • Operate basic machinery and tools as needed.
  • Monitor product quality and report and defects.
  • Follow safety guidelines and standard operation procedures.
  • Support inventory management and material handling.
  • Support production activities by preparing tools, materials, and documentation
  • Assist the Production Team Lead and Supervisor in organizing workflows
  • Monitor and report production progress and issues (e.g., delays, material shortages)
  • Help with the onboarding and training of new production staff
  • Conduct quality checks and flag any nonconformities
  • Maintain production records and ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures
