About the Role

DecisionHR is seeking a sharp, analytically minded Sales Operations & Business Analytics Intern to support our sales organization through data analysis, reporting, CRM management, and operational support initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment where you will work directly with real business data, systems, and projects that make a measurable impact on company performance.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with data, and supporting operational efficiency across teams. This intern will play a key role in helping maintain accurate sales reporting, improving visibility into performance metrics, and supporting the operational backbone of a growing PEO organization.

About the Program
  • Location: Saint Petersburg, FL
  • Timeframe: Length of a semester; however, some may be extended
  • Hours: 30–40 hours per week with a flexible schedule to accommodate class schedules
  • Weekly gatherings with interns, managers, and/or executives

Primary Responsibilities
  • Track and reconcile commission data within CRM systems, ensuring accuracy and identifying discrepancies for review
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards in Excel and Power BI to support sales leadership with actionable insights
  • Collect, organize, and validate sales data to support operational decision-making and pipeline reporting
  • Support intelligence-gathering efforts including competitive research, market data collection, and prospect list building
  • Assist with CRM maintenance to ensure systems remain clean, current, and reliable for the sales team
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, finance, and leadership teams on operational projects and ad hoc initiatives
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and internship programming throughout the engagement
  • Remain flexible and responsive to shifting priorities and additional business needs
  • Support additional projects and operational initiatives as assigned
Required Skills & Characteristics

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivot tables, reporting, and data organization
