Digital Product Analyst (Internship Job Description)

We are seeking a Digital Product Analyst Intern to join our Product & Digital Strategy team. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product management, business analysis and agile development. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and curious about how modern digital products are built, including how emerging technologies like AI are shaping the product development lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Product Management, or equivalent degree.
  • Strong interest in digital product development, agile methodologies, ecommerce, and customer experience.
  • Basic understanding of web and mobile applications, user experience principles, and modern design/prototyping tools
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) and curiosity about how they can be applied in product development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and assist in decision-making.
  • Proactive and eager to learn, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodology
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to product initiatives from problem definition through solution exploration and recommendation, with opportunities to take the lead on discrete workstreams where appropriate.
  • Conduct research (user, market, and competitive) to inform product decisions and identify opportunities.
  • Define and document product requirements, user stories, and success criteria.
  • Support prototyping, usability testing, and experience design efforts using modern product and design tools.
  • Leverage generative AI tools to accelerate research, documentation, and analysis, while learning best practices for responsible use.
  • Explore and identify opportunities where AI or automation could improve product experiences or team workflows.
  • Assist product team with backlog management, prioritization, and product initiatives.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups) to understand team workflows and contribute where appropriate.

Contribute to documentation such as process flows, user journeys, and roadmaps.
