Job Summary

Burn Proof Gear is a Miami-based tactical accessories manufacturer looking for a detail-oriented Accounting / Admin Assistant to support our day-to-day 
accounting operations and serve as a central point of contact between departments.
Responsibilities 
  • Accounts Receivable & Sales Transactions
    •  Create and track customer invoices in QuickBooks Online; estimates as needed
    •  Review and verify sales transactions across multiple channels
    •  Organize, verify, and report on AR aging
    •  Investigate and resolve discrepancies between channel data and QBO records|
  • Accounts Payable & Purchasing
    •  Coordinate and verify purchase transactions against external software and staff
    •  Process vendor payments and maintain AP aging
    •  Review and code employee expense reports
  • General Accounting
    •  Support monthly reconciliations and month-end close
    •  Support journal entry preparation and posting
    •  Coordinate with external CPA on tax prep and year-end close
    •  Assist with additional tasks as the company grows
  • Office & Administrative Support
    •  Serve as a point of contact between departments, including warehouse and operations
    •  Handle general office administration and day-to-day operational support
    •  Assist with vendor and staff communications as needed
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of bookkeeping, accounting, or office administration experience
  •  1-2 years of recent QuickBooks Online experience required
  •  Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new tools quickly
  •  Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
  •  Experience with ERP or MRP systems (e.g. Katana) a plus
  •  Experience in a product-based or e-commerce business a plus
