Job Summary
Are you the type of person who likes to know the why behind the equipment and who enjoys educating others? This role will provide training guidance and support for Vermeer products to optimize the learning experience for participants. We're looking for a person that has a seasoned knowledge of Vermeer equipment to help us teach an ever-growing sales team within our global dealer organization.
What You'll Do
1. Work with product development, engineering and product support teams to determine content needs and expectations.
2. Build supporting content that simplifies complex concepts by use of fundamental product and customer persona knowledge.
3. Balance information, resources and deadlines to produce timely and impactful product training content.
4. Utilize a range of applications to assist in creation of training content.
5. Create short scripts that can be used for educational videos.
6. Structure in-person learning environments for product training events that can be 1-5 days in length.
7. Deliver training content to audiences in ways that are engaging and educational.
8. Use hands-on demonstrations and simulation as needed to accomplish learning goals.
9. Evaluate class participation/environment and adjust as needed.
10. Provide student feedback through report cards.
11. Monitor industry training trends and participate in team meetings to provide insights.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelors or equivalent education and relevant experience.
- Ability to acquire a Class A CDL license.
- Knowledge of parts systems and sales skills.
- PowerPoint, Excel, Word, public speaking.
- English language or Bilingual with Spanish.
Travel
- Occasional travel is expected of this position.
Work Location
ONSITE: A team member's day-to-day work is best done on a Vermeer campus. If work content can be occasionally completed at an offsite location, discuss potential arrangements with your manager.
