Role/Job Description:

  • Development of testcases for modules
  • Performing smoke and regression testing on bench setup
  • Participate in daily scrums and act as a module expert
  • Defect logging and verification
  • Analyze the test logs to identify affected module
  • Co-ordination with development and test teams
  • Test automation
  • Accountable for meeting delivery schedule as planned

Skills:

  • Proficient in Embedded C
  • Knowledge of Linux/QNX, 16/32 bit Microcontrollers
  • Knowledge of Infotainment module functionalities like HandsFree functionality, Internet radio(Pandora), Sirius XM, Music Management (CD, USB), Navigation, Camera and Video control
  • Experience in Bluetooth testing for profiles A2DP, AVRCP, HFP and PBAP
  • Testing on Bench setup and vehicle testing for functional, negative and random scenarios
  • Experience in Automotive test tools like CANoe, CANalyzer and communication simulators
  • Test scripting using Python and CAPL
  • In-vehicle protocols like CAN, MOST
  • Exposure to complete life cycle of software development and testing
