Job description

Senior Product Manager, Consumer AI Assistant - Mobile
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution of our consumer AI assistant on mobile.
You will own two critical outcomes: improving the assistant's ability to fulfill customer needs and driving sustained adoption and engagement. Working at the intersection of consumer mobile, conversational AI, and product growth, you will turn emerging AI capabilities into useful, reliable, and trusted customer experiences.
You will partner closely with engineering, AI/ML, design, research, analytics, safety, legal, and marketing teams.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do
  • Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the mobile AI assistant.
  • Own outcomes across task completion, response quality, customer satisfaction, adoption, engagement, and retention.
  • Identify high-value customer needs and improve the end-to-end assistant experience.
  • Use analytics, experimentation, customer research, and AI evaluations to identify friction and prioritize improvements.
  • Develop growth strategies that improve discovery, onboarding, activation, repeat usage, and retention.
  • Partner with AI/ML and engineering teams to improve grounding, latency, reliability, safety, and overall assistant quality.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and communicate priorities, tradeoffs, and results to senior leadership.

Qualifications
What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of product management experience building and scaling consumer mobile products.
  • A strong track record of improving product quality, adoption, engagement, retention, or customer satisfaction.
  • Experience building conversational AI, or other intelligent consumer experiences.
  • Understanding of generative AI product development, including evaluation, grounding, safety, latency, and model limitations.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data, experimentation, and customer insights to drive decisions.
  • Ability to define strategy, navigate ambiguity, and influence across technical and business teams.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
    Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with large language models, natural-language interfaces, tool use, or agentic systems.
  • Experience with consumer growth, lifecycle engagement, or product-led growth.
  • Experience with AI evaluation, human review, and production monitoring.
  • Experience in automotive, mobility, connected devices, or related consumer ecosystems.

You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!
As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice. You can choose what your Ford future will look like: will your story span the globe, or keep you close to home? No matter what you choose, we offer a work life that works for you, including:
  • Immediate medical, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage
  • Flexible family care days, paid parental leave, new parent ramp-up programs, subsidized back-up child care and more
  • Family building benefits including adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement, fertility treatments, and more
  • Vehicle discount program for employees and family members and management leases
  • Tuition assistance
  • Established and active employee resource groups
  • Paid time off for individual and team community service
  • A generous schedule of paid holidays, including the week between Christmas and New Year's Day
