GENERAL PURPOSE
As a Digital Product Manager, you will support the strategy, development, and execution of Miller Knoll Group's retail supply chain product portfolio, with a primary focus on Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and supporting capabilities. You will define and lead the delivery of WMS related initiatives, including key integrations across fulfillment, transportation, inventory, and enterprise systems that enhance customer experiences, streamline service operations, and drive business value. Acting as the voice of the customer, you will manage and prioritize product backlogs, ensure seamless delivery of features, and maximize impact for both the business and customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to create and prioritize the product roadmap.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders, product, and engineering teams on both internal and external bugs and feature improvements.
  • Run scrum ceremonies such as refinement sessions, stand-ups, etc.
  • Collaborate with other product managers to align the roadmap and priorities for cross-functional features.
  • Manage other team members.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of the product.
  • Defines product features and requirements, Epics, Stories, and leads the implementation of new digital products and/or digital product updates.
  • Ensures that all necessary user acceptance, performance, and post-production testing is conducted and documented according to Herman Miller testing guidelines.
  • Fosters a culture of customer-centered design throughout the organization.
  • Analyze operational KPIs to measure product success and customer value.
  • Identifies opportunities and trends from the digital marketplace, analyzing relevant vendors and keeping an eye toward our competitive landscape.
  • Manages vendor and stakeholder relationships.
  • Researches and maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and how they may optimize current business practices.
  • Utilizes analytics and customer research to measure product effectiveness and to direct future product development.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in product or delivery management, product ownership, business analysis, preferably within a digital warehouse operations environment.
  • 3-5 years serving as the Product Owner/Sr. Business Analyst for WMS capabilities, including inbound, receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and cycle counting.
  • Experience managing requirements for WMS integrations with upstream and downstream systems (e.g., ERP, Order Management, Transportation, Inventory)
  • Product Owner/business analyst experience for Transport Management Systems (TMS), logistics capabilities, and their integration is nice-to-have.
  • Good understanding of agile or iterative delivery methods.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Experience in vendor management.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in intake management and product roadmapping.

Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of web analytics.
Experience in requirements analysis and definition.
A deep understanding of the contemporary digital ecosystem.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence decision making and creative concepts.

The ability to use the office automation, communication, software, and tools in the Herman Miller office environment.
