Location - Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526 Contract Duration - 24+ Months with the possibility of extension based on performance and client needs Shift Time - 1st shift: Core hours 8am-4pm Pay Range - 35$/hr.-40$/hr. on w2 Job Description Looking for new grads or early career talent Your Responsibilities As a Product Safety and Standards Engineer for Client's Turf Compact Utility in Fuquay-Varina, NC you will: Gather data from test labs, product engineering teams, and others in support of safety and compliance activities. Prepare compliance documentation for commercial mowing, golf, and other products. Create and maintain test activity template records Work with third-party companies to gather information on market entry requirements. Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to tailor communications to audience Skills in managing multiple simultaneous projects Able to coordinate efforts and develop consensus recommendations Able to review, understand, and explain requirements from standards and/or regulations Specific Position Requirements Knowledge and familiarity of engineering concepts related to mobile off-road machinery Familiarity with regulations and standards, including but not limited to: EN, IEC, ISO, SAE, UL Education Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or equivalent experience.
