Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in commercial facilities management and maintenance in a manufacturing/production environment.
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred or equivalent combination of education, skills and work experience.
Compensation: $92,000 - $120,000 depending upon education, skills and experience.

Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Manager provides services and support for implementation, troubleshooting, maintenance and general repairs for facilities, labs, production areas and supporting equipment. This position will develop maintenance plans and lead strategic projects that bring nLIGHT DEFENSE Systems Facilities up to optimal working and safe operating conditions.

This position will be a driving factor in supporting our continued growth and enhance operational efficiency and execution.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and conduct various building and equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Identify and manage qualified suppliers and contractors for onsite services and construction.
  • Interface with local municipality as required to ensure compliance requirements are met.
  • Install and replace wiring, lighting, electrical fixtures, breakers, and other electrical devices within the facilities.
  • Document process and procedures for routine facilities maintenance and operations.
  • Develop preventative maintenance plans for the facility and supporting equipment including Machine Tools, HVAC, Lighting, Chiller Systems, and other facilities related equipment. Assist with setting up company test and production laboratories, cleanrooms, and supporting equipment.
  • Manage and/or select building vendors/contractors including janitorial, electrical, and property management (i.e. building temperature, lighting, equipment failures, office equipment and furniture repair/replacement).
  • Manage physical security within and around Longmont factory site.

Required Experience / Capability:
  • Commitment to Excellence. Attention to Detail. Pride in Workmanship.
  • Previous experience with team management and tradespeople required.
  • Qualified Electrical Work experience in installation and inspection of custom-built research equipment, facilities, and laboratory supporting equipment.
  • Trained and experienced with code and regulatory compliance, especially NFPA 70E, National Electric Code, and OSHA. Possess or obtain Electrical connection/disconnection certification.
  • Experienced Electrical Officer, possessing Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) Program experience on equipment with multiple sources of energy and stored energy. Experienced in the selection and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) for electrical hazards (Shock, Arc Flash, Arc Blast).
  • Understanding of Product Safety and NRTL (Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory) requirements.
  • Effectively manage schedule and priorities with minimal daily direction to meet mid to long-term schedule objectives.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Basic facilities maintenance skills in electrical, plumbing, HVAC Systems and mechanical maintenance.
  • Experience with cleanroom setup, qualification, and continued maintenance programs.
