GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

At American Expedition Vehicles, marketing is about understanding people and building awareness of how our products can take their vehicles to the next level. We’re looking for an experienced and versatile marketing manager eager to do this and more. The ideal candidate has experience developing and executing marketing campaigns while managing and inspiring a team. The manager should be equally proficient with day-to-day marketing activities and long-term strategizing, striving to meet the company's changing needs under tight deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Help develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet advertising and public-facing communications objectives, including print, digital, and video assets.
  • Conceptualize and execute multichannel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging in all channels.
  • Manage content and updates for customer and internal touch points, establish budget guidelines, participate in events, document business processes, and provide sales support.
  • Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads.
  • Identify the effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis and optimize accordingly.
  • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams
  • Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments.
  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration from sales & engineering.
  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies.
  • Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • At least ten years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record of leadership and strategy execution.
  • Strong automotive industry knowledge (OE and aftermarket), preferably within off-road and adventure vehicles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
  • Proven ability to design and develop multimedia training programs.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset.Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing plans.
  • Strong community engagement and brand-building experience.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Hubspot knowledge a plus
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or communications.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Walking alongside vehicles for videos and/or photos
  • Working at trade shows and events will require daily walking, standing for long periods of time, carrying display items sometimes weighing as much as 50 lbs, and bending, kneeling, grasping, and crouching to set up and tear down displays.
  • Must be able to hear and see large trucks moving in and out of trade shows and events.
  • Must be able to see various shapes, colors, and designs to review print ads and catalogs.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

This role may require local and international travel. Employees must have and maintain active copies of all necessary paperwork for travel locally and internationally, including a valid Michigan RealID Driver’s License and U.S. Passport.
