Job Description

The Product Manager role will drive supply planning solution capabilities from concept to delivery.  Gather voice of customer for product requirements, research current and emerging tools and processes, define product requirements and processes, plan and execute testing activities, and support deployment of supply planning solutions.  Author the supply planning product capability road-map.  The product manager will work with stakeholders, development teams, and customers to deliver supply planning solutions.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Create and manage the product capability road-map for the supply planning solution
  • Elicit supply planning requirements from customers and define product capability requirements to support known and future supply planning scenarios
  • Design standard supply planning business processes that utilizes product capabilities
  • Collaborate with supply chain solutions team to integrate supply planning processes with data management, supply planning, reporting, and collaboration components of the supply chain solutions product
  • Communicate requirement to development teams and support the functional design activities
  • Create test plans and product acceptance criteria
  • Support implementation of product by working with customer deployment and operations teams
  • Create and manage project plans and sync with project/program management teams
  • Provide on-going product support to customers
  • Participate in product demonstrations for potential customers
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate/Graduate degree in Supply Chain Management, New Product Development, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years experience with elicitation, analysis, business process design, and supply planning experience 
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio)
  • Software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional and JDA Fulfillment Certification, preferred
