About the Team

As a Product Manager within the Nexus Risk Data Products organization, you will be joining a team critical to driving the data strategy for the Enterprise Risk Organization (ERO). Our vision is to be the preferred data provider for Enterprise Risk, serving authoritative data products through an intuitive user experience, to power real-time, intelligent risk management. We produce data products that are highly trusted, AI ready, and simpler to manage by centralizing and standardizing data solutions across Enterprise Risk through a modernized data solution.

As a Product Manager in the Nexus Risk Data Products team, you will
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to research, ideate, and deliver reusable data products
  • Apply discovery and research techniques to identify internal customer pain points
  • Break down business epics into features and further into user stories
  • Write acceptance criteria and lead refinement efforts with the engineering team
  • Evaluate and explore new technical approaches to solve customer needs
  • Drive day-to-day prioritization of work, troubleshoot reported issues, and oversee releases
  • Research and troubleshoot data-related issues from the data user communities
  • Conduct data analysis to drive insights into new product features
Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for data; possess a high level understanding of a modern cloud-based data ecosystem; understand data producer and consumer needs and pain points; be well versed in data governance concepts; and have a strong technical background.

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
  • A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. McLean, VA: $164,800 - $188,100 for Manager, Product Management. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered will be reflected in the offer letter.
