We are seeking a Senior Product Manager/Data Science professional to support a mission-focused AI/ML program. This role operates at the intersection of product strategy, mission needs, and AI/ML technology, guiding the development and delivery of machine learning products within a secure digital intelligence environment. The ideal candidate will translate user and mission requirements into actionable product strategies and roadmaps while collaborating closely with data scientists, engineers, and program leadership to deliver mission-impacting capabilities. Job Responsibilities:
• Translate mission and user needs into product vision, strategy, and prioritized roadmaps for AI/ML capabilities
• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to enhance mission outcomes
• Provide strategic insight on the application of industry best practices and emerging AI technologies
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to design, develop, and deploy machine learning products
• Support the full product lifecycle from concept and requirements definition through deployment and performance monitoring
• Serve as the primary interface between stakeholders, users, and development teams
• Lead or support strategic planning sessions, design reviews, and product demonstrations
• Monitor product performance metrics and recommend enhancements to improve effectiveness
• Evaluate operational baselines and recommend data-driven improvements
• Communicate product vision, progress, and outcomes to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Stay current on AI/ML trends, tools, and methodologies and apply them to mission challenges
• Support cross-functional collaboration across program, engineering, and mission teams Required Qualifications: * Master’s degree in a relevant technical or business discipline preferred
* Experience supporting product development in an Agile or Scrum environment
* Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts, data analytics, and statistical methods
* Familiarity with ML model development lifecycle and MLOps practices
* Experience using data and metrics to drive product decisions
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
* Experience collaborating across cross-functional technical teams
* Experience leading high-performing technical or product teams preferred
* Experience supporting Intelligence Community or DoD programs preferred
* Experience working in joint military or intelligence environments preferred
* Product Management, Agile, or Project Management certification (e.g., Scrum Master, PMP, SAFe) preferred
