Details:
Product Manager - Machine Learning
Location: Remote project
Duration: 12 months
Job Functions:
Within the role, the Lead Product Manager will:
  • Develop and manage end-to-end Machine Learning technical product solutions.
  • Leverage subject matter expertise to proactively engage with business partners to strategize and design solutions that improve investigation of activities, and decision-making utilizing Machine Learning
  • Identify opportunities to leverage Machine Learning technology to achieve Advanced Analytics strategic objectives. Partner with business and technology sponsors to build successful business cases to fund the initiatives
  • Represent and collaborate with business partner across the full product lifecycle. Oversee stakeholder engagement and communication, review and prioritization of business requirements, cross-functional user acceptance testing of selected solution(s), and development of change management plans for implementation and adoption.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology counterparts to evaluate third-party solutions where appropriate. Lead vendor engagement efforts from selection through implementation
  • Help define and validate success criteria for business partners where Machine Learning can improve their goals and objectives
  • Rely upon design thinking / growth mindset to approach business problems with a strategic view
  • Provide feedback regarding solutions, tools, and platforms with a view of strategic priorities
  • Champion new Machine Learning capabilities, functions, and processes within and across the organization

Education/Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or related field and a minimum of seven (7) years of experience working with ML; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience developing or working directly on various aspects of large-scale ML platforms such as dataset generation, feature development, model testing and resource management to support the development of ML-powered product experiences such as NLP, computer-vision, ranking and personalization
  • Strong organizational skills, oral, and written communication skills, with an ability to administer multiple complex assignments concurrently and execute against tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with advanced reporting and analytics tools.
  • Be able to prioritize a complex workload, make difficult decisions, and resolve competing priorities
  • Proven record of operationalizing and deploying complex technology applications across business users from inception to delivery
  • Self-starter, forward-thinking, and ability to "get into the weeds" of business processes and technology capabilities to maximize value and outcomes
