The Product Manager at CAVA is responsible for defining, building, and optimizing enterprise products that drive operational excellence and deliver measurable business value. This role ensures that products are treated as strategic assets, not just operational byproducts, and takes end-to-end ownership of the product lifecycle-from initial creation through ongoing consumption and continuous improvement.
Sitting at the intersection of business strategy, technology, and user experience, the Product Manager partners with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable product requirements, ensuring solutions are scalable, intuitive, and aligned with enterprise priorities.
Success at CAVA: At CAVA, Managers oversee daily execution for themselves and their team of analyts and make operational decisions that keep things running smoothly. In this role you will be expected to lead a team of analysts and scale the team as needed based on business needs.
What You'll Do:
Product Strategy & Vision
• Lead a Data Product team supporting CAVA's FP&A business unit
• Direct oversight for data analysts
• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for enterprise products, ensuring alignment with CAVA's business goals.
• Treat products as strategic assets, guaranteeing relevance and value over time.
• Identify high-impact opportunities to enhance efficiency, decision-making, and innovation.
• Establish product KPIs and success metrics.
Product Development & Execution
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, requirements, and specifications.
• Oversee end-to-end product development, including prioritization, sprint planning, testing, and release management.
• Ensure products meet quality, usability, and performance standards.
Cross-Functional Partnership
• Act as the bridge between business and engineering teams, serving as a subject matter expert (SME).
• Partner with stakeholders to identify, measure, and prioritize product-driven opportunities.
• Facilitate feedback loops for continuous improvement.
Governance & Compliance
• Ensure products comply with enterprise governance, privacy, and security standards.
• Drive adoption of best practices, documentation, and data integrity measures.
User Experience & Adoption
• Design experiences aligned to specific personas and use cases.
• Develop training materials, user guides, and communication plans to support adoption.
• Conduct user testing and lead iterative improvements.
The Qualifications:
Required
• 3-7+ years of experience in data product management or related technical/business roles.
• Proficient in SQL or Python
• Experience with modern data architecture (data mesh, lakehouse, etc) and data visualization tools
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and agile methodologies.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into actionable requirements.
Preferred
• Excellent communication, influencing, and collaboration skills.
• Experience managing products in a high-growth environment.
• Familiarity with modern tools and platforms (e.g., Databricks, APIs, operational dashboards).
• Background in technology, operations, or analytics-heavy functions.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment
• Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details
• For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds
• Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively
• Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable
