Description
At Franklin Electric, Product Management plays a critical role in supporting the development, execution, and lifecycle management of products that serve our customers and markets. As a Product Management Specialist, you will provide administrative, operational, and project support to the Product Management team while gaining exposure to a broad range of product-related activities across the organization.
This position is well suited for an early-career professional who is detail-oriented, organized, eager to learn, and interested in supporting product strategy, product launches, market analysis, and cross-functional initiatives. The role is designed to provide foundational product management experience and serves as a potential development pathway toward future Product Management opportunities within Franklin Electric.
Key Responsibilities
Product Management Support and Execution
  • Support Product Managers in executing product-related initiatives, projects, and day-to-day activities across the product portfolio.
  • Assist with organizing product information, maintaining documentation, and ensuring accuracy of product records within company systems.
  • Help coordinate activities related to product launches, product updates, and product lifecycle management.

Product Information and Communications
  • Support the development and maintenance of product literature, brochures, specifications, presentations, and other customer-facing materials.
  • Assist in preparing internal and external product communications, training materials, and presentation content.
  • Ensure product information remains current, consistent, and accessible across relevant platforms and resources.

Market, Customer, & Business Insights
  • Gather and organize information from Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Operations, and other stakeholders to support product initiatives.
  • Assist in collecting and analyzing customer, market, and competitive information to help inform product decisions.
  • Support reporting activities by preparing project updates, summaries, and business insights for the Product Management team.
  • Support special pricing requests and annual pricing review activities, including data collection, competitive pricing research, margin analysis, and preparation of pricing recommendations.

AI & Process Improvement Support
  • Assist with Product Management initiatives involving artificial intelligence (AI) tools and emerging technologies.
  • Support adoption of new tools and practices that enhance efficiency, information management, and decision-making.
