What is product distribution?

Product distribution refers to the process of delivering finished goods from manufacturers or suppliers to end customers or retail outlets. It involves managing the logistics, transportation, storage, and sometimes sales channels to ensure products reach the right place at the right time. Effective distribution is crucial for businesses to maintain product availability, meet customer demand, and stay competitive in the market. It can include direct shipping, use of intermediaries, or a combination of various distribution strategies.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in product distribution?

To thrive in Product Distribution, you need organizational skills, inventory management experience, and a basic understanding of supply chain logistics, often supported by a high school diploma or relevant certifications.
