Job description

Closets by Design is a nationally recognized leader in home organizing systems. We design, manufacture, and install a complete line of custom closets, home office furniture, media systems, wall-beds, garage cabinetry and more
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Sourcing Manager to join our closets team. In this role, you'll help fulfill customer orders by selecting and managing hardware vendors, negotiating pricing, and keeping our design, sales, and production teams aligned on specifications. If you enjoy building vendor relationships, solving problems, and keeping projects moving, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
  • Select and manage vendors for closet and cabinetry hardware.
  • Source hardware that fits our quality, design, and cost standards.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers.
  • Communicate hardware selections and specifications to design, sales, and production teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues to keep orders on schedule.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage purchase orders.

What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, or inventory management (cabinetry, closets, millwork, or building products experience a plus).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Comfortable with Excel and purchasing/inventory software.
  • Great communicator who works well across departments.
  • A problem-solver who stays organized under deadline pressure.
