A Product Development Sourcing Manager is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers during the product development process. Familiarity with procurement software (like SAP or Oracle), supplier management systems, and relevant certifications such as CPSM or CSCP is highly valued. Strong negotiation, project management, and cross-functional communication skills set top performers apart in this role. These competencies ensure cost-effective sourcing, timely product launches, and effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams, driving business success.
