Global Product Manager, Wet End
ANDRITZ, Paper & Tissue Division is looking for a strategic and technically strong Global Product Manager, Wet End, Paper/Board to take global ownership of one of our key product areas. In this role, you will shape the direction, competitiveness, and profitability of our wet end portfolio by translating market trends, customer needs, and technical insights into focused product strategies and lifecycle value. Working with experts across regions, functions, and product groups, you will help develop solutions that support our customers' success and contribute to the future of paper and board production. If you are inspired by product leadership, global collaboration, and creating what's next, we would be pleased to hear from you. You will report to the Global Product Group Manager Paper/Board.
In your role, you will
  • Shape and execute the global wet end product strategy in line with Paper & Board Product Group business priorities.
  • Strengthen competitiveness, market share, profitability, and lifecycle value for our customers.
  • Lead product development, standardization, cost optimization, and service strategy together with global stakeholders.
  • Turn product, market, customer, and competitor insights into clear priorities and new business opportunities.
  • Enable sales, order execution, quality, marketing, and technology teams with the right product expertise, tools, training, and customer feedback.
  • Build alignment across global teams and drive excellent product decisions in the spirit of #1ANDRITZway.

What we expect from you
  • A university degree in paper technology, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Strong expertise in wet end technologies, paper technology, and the paper or board industry.
  • Extensive professional experience in product development, cost optimization, and value-based product management, gained through specialist, product management, business development, or similar roles.
  • Experience working in global matrix organizations and collaborating effectively across functions, regions, and cultures.
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to advocate for ideas, challenge assumptions, and drive strategic decisions through expertise and sound judgment.
  • A strategic, business-oriented mindset combined with a hands-on approach to solving complex challenges and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Interest in innovation-driven and agile ways of working, such as outcome-driven innovation, design thinking, or Scrum.
  • A structured, collaborative, and solution-oriented working style, with the ability to build trust, align stakeholders, and deliver results in a complex environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required (up to 50%).
