Position Summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth across our Clutches & Brakes (C&B) business.

This role serves as the primary link between Specialty Distribution partners, engineering/product management teams, and commercial leadership to develop and deliver engineered solutions that solve complex customer challenges. The successful candidate will leverage a strong technical foundation, industry expertise, and commercial acumen to grow expert channels market, secure product specifications, and expand customer relationships throughout North America.

What You'll Do

  • Drive growth across new and existing Specialty Distribution channels and the Clutches & Brakes Industry accounts throughout North America.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies focused on increasing revenue, market share, and specification wins.
  • Serve as the technical and commercial expert for the Clutches & Brakes product portfolio.
  • Partner directly with customers, distributors, OEMs, and end users to understand application requirements and identify growth opportunities.
  • Translate customer challenges and technical requirements into actionable solutions in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Support complex Engineer-to-Order (ETO) and customized application opportunities from concept through implementation.
  • Influence product specifications and position Regal Rexnord as the preferred solutions provider.
  • Build and expand relationships with key decision-makers across customer and distribution organizations.
  • Lead customer presentations, technical training sessions, product demonstrations, and application reviews.
  • Capture Voice of Customer insights and partner with Product Management to influence future product development.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Finance, and Commercial teams to execute growth initiatives.
  • Utilize CRM tools and sales analytics to manage opportunities and track business development activities.
  • Travel to customer and distributor locations throughout North America to strengthen relationships and support strategic initiatives.

  • Strong business acumen with experience in sales, account development, or market growth initiatives.
  • Experience collaborating across engineering, product management, and commercial teams.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office tools, and business analytics systems.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel 30-50% throughout North America.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with industrial power transmission, motion control, automation, clutches, brakes, couplings, gear drives, or related technologies.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, continuous improvement, or value-stream methodologies.
  • Experience working with distribution networks and OEM customer channels.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.

Compensation: $135,000 - $155,000 base salary + 20% SICP

The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for this position. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, the geographic market of that location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons among other potential factors.

Travel: 30 - 50%

Location: Remote (United States) with travel throughout North America.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship to obtain or keep U.S. work authorization.
