Job Description

The Business Development Consultant drives the growth of the OpsRamp Embedded Sales Motion by increasing attach, bringing awareness to sales teams, and identifying expansion opportunities across HPE GL Flex Solution, Complete Care and Private Cloud. This role partners with Sales, Pre-Sales and Customer Success teams to maximize attach rate and value realization. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to increase Hybrid Observability attach rate, revenue, create an expand pipeline, avoid churn, increase renewals.
  • Partner with Sales and pre-sales to identify, qualify, and support strategic customer opportunities.
  • Create value propositions, sales plays, competitive positioning, and enablement content.
  • Be able to conduct Hybrid Observability sales pitch and demos in front of customers
  • Bring awareness to customers and HPE field by conducting training and enablement
  • Manage exceptions
Qualifications
  • 10+ years in Business Development, GTM Strategy, Solution Consulting, or Enterprise Sales.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud, AI infrastructure, SaaS, observability, or IT operations solutions, and HPE products
  • Strong communication, strategic planning, and organization skills.
  • Ability to influence across Pre-sales, Sales, Product teams
  • Experience with Partners and Channel is a plus
Success Measures
  • Increased attach rate for OpsRamp within GL Flex, Complete Care and Private Cloud.
  • Growth in qualified pipeline and revenue.
  • Increased expansion opportunities and customer value realization.
  • Successful execution of GTM initiatives and sales enablement programs.
  • Successful internal training and webinars bringing awareness to sales, customer success and services on hybrid Observability
