Purpose
The Associate Director, CMF Product Development will contribute to the overall success of the CMF and Prime Services businesses globally, ensuring specific individual goals, plans and initiatives are delivered in alignment with the global business' strategies and objectives. They will ensure all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

What You'll Do:

  • Steer and oversee the strategic development of CMF's products.
  • Oversee the rollout of key business initiatives and product improvements across Global Financing in Global Capital Markets.
  • Lead the evaluation and implementation of market structure changes to position the business proactively and capture upcoming opportunities.
  • Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Drive global CMF initiatives and work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, providing direction to ensure alignment with strategic business plans, ensuring delivery of efficient and effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with global CMF desks to deliver on repo sales and trading automation and electronification, market access (e.g. brokers, venues, models), improve controls/processes, create avenues for revenue generation, client execution and shareholder value add.
  • Provide clear direction to Technology teams to deliver trading-aligned solutions, ensuring platforms support real-time decision-making, automation, and scalable growth across repo and financing products.
  • Own business engagement with external vendors, FinTech partners to deliver strategic capabilities in alignment with business priorities.
  • Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Code of Conduct.
  • Contributes to a high-performance environment and fosters an inclusive work environment; supporting the vison/values/business strategy for the team.

What You'll Bring:

  • Deep knowledge of the margin financing industry with a focus on Fixed Income securities
  • Understanding of front, middle and back office functions within the global financing infrastructure
  • Experience of relevant regulatory environments impacting the industry
  • Strong product knowledge and product/client experience across Repo and Prime Services
  • Process and system knowledge, ideally with prior experience of Anvil and LoanOne
  • Strong excel skills, or other, to support data analysis
  • Strong multitasking skills to effectively manage multiple business programmes
  • Collaboration with different departments within a bank, including Risk, Operations and Technology, as well as external vendors and FinTechs
  • Ability to articulate product plans and collaborate with senior stakeholder partners
  • Familiarity with SFT collateral optimization frameworks, funding efficiency metrics, capital usage considerations within Global Financing
  • Demonstrated ability to work across business and technology teams to deliver scalable solutions
