About the Global Mortgage Solutions Business
The Global Mortgage Solutions business is a leading mortgage provider to Ultra High & High Net Worth Global Private Bank clients servicing our global clients for their residential mortgage needs secured by properties in the US, UK, and French markets. The Global Mortgage Solutions team includes a global mortgage product team and a large team of Mortgage Specialists in multiple global locations who work with clients and bankers to guide them in their home lending financing needs.

About the US Mortgage Product Team
The US Mortgage Product Team is responsible for comprehensive product management, including strategic planning, creation, design, launch, and lifecycle management of all US mortgage and HELOC products and features offered in the US Private Bank. The team oversees the end-to-end platforms/products, from client-facing applications to point-of-sale (POS) and loan origination (LOS) products, that enable the mortgage offering. The mortgage product team aims to drive mortgage and HELOC growth by innovating, modernizing, and creating efficiencies using AI, automation, and traditional development solutions to scale the origination experience while preserving personalized advice. The team partners closely with Mortgage Specialists (LO's), Mortgage Operations teams, and Global Private Bank (sales) functions, as well as Technology, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Marketing, to design and deliver solutions that enhance client experience and achieve business objectives.

Job Summary
As a Mortgage Product Owner in Wealth Management, you are an integral part of the mortgage team that innovates, creates, and executes the end-to-end product lifecycle for mortgage products, partnering with business and technology to translate requirements into actionable user stories and deliver compliant, high-quality solutions. You drive end-to-end execution-from discovery and documentation through testing, UAT, and adoption.
You execute outcome-focused delivery for defined features by turning data and stakeholder input into prioritized backlogs and clear acceptance criteria, coordinating launches within scope, and proactively managing dependencies, risks, and escalations to ensure timely delivery. With a commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate across teams to support user adoption, reinforce regulatory alignment, and elevate the client experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for product development.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and propose solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Document requirements, process models, and system specifications, converting them into actionable user stories.
  • Work with IT and other departments to implement system changes that meet business goals.
  • Support testing and validation, representing end-users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Practice agile methodologies, including story mapping, backlog management, and adherence to scrum ceremonies.
  • Partner with Product Managers to elaborate features and ensure user stories meet readiness and completion criteria.
  • Lead communication between business and technology teams to define product features and project milestones.
  • Ensure all documentation is current, compliant, and meets regulatory standards in the mortgage industry.
  • Deepen product management skills across the full lifecycle by mastering the end-to-end mortgage origination process and its dependencies, and applying that business knowledge to define requirements, prioritize backlogs, and guide delivery.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance team understanding and user adoption of new products.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Graduate/Post Graduate with 4+ years of experience in product development, with a focus on requirements gathering and solutioning.
  • Self-starter with the ability to solve problems creatively and deliver results while working in a dynamic, collaborative, and challenging environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, with particular skill in Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, Confluence, and Visio/Lucid.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience with the mortgage/lending industry.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage/lending products, processes, and regulations, with the ability to apply this knowledge to product development.
  • Experience leveraging AI/LLMs to enhance product development and operations-for example, translating requirements into user stories, accelerating analysis and documentation, summarizing stakeholder feedback, generating test cases, and identifying process improvements-while adhering to data privacy, model risk, and compliance standards.
