In this role, you will be responsible for designing the equipment and systems that meet our customers’ requirements. You will contribute to and lead engineering teams, develop concepts for new & improved commercial HVAC products, and solve complex technical problems leading to production of sustainable new products. This role works closely with other departments in engineering, manufacturing, marketing, service, and sourcing to create integrated and optimized designs and support ongoing business activities. In this role, you will also have opportunities to learn from some of the industry’s best people, while having opportunities to develop leadership skills by running projects that support the business. **What you will do:*** Develop HVAC refrigeration and airflow systems to meet performance, regulatory, quality, and cost requirements.* Review and understand the technical feasibility of product and internal requirements. Design and select robust and cost-effective components and develop engineering specifications.* Understand and apply applicable regulatory codes such as UL.* Complete system integration tasks including: engineering design, engineering specifications, support creation of layouts, and design reviews.* Develop laboratory test plans and analyze test data to ensure product performance and quality.* Support the creation of the documentation package to ensure documentation reflects the design intent and that all required documents are completed on time and to the satisfaction of the internal customers.* Demonstrate that all knowledge gaps, Failures (FRACAS) and Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) items are resolved to minimize potential for quality escapes.* Provide guidance and leadership to designers, lab technicians, and other team members.* Manage project schedules and teams for assigned projects. **What you will bring:*** Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in an Engineering discipline.* 3-5 years' experience leading technical aspects of product design projects, validation testing, and root cause analysis.* Deliver and lead technical designs to meet project and product requirements.* Familiarity with HVAC system functions including refrigeration, heat transfer, airflow, and ventilation preferred.* Good understanding of the application of computer simulation tools and theory to HVAC system design preferred.**Fascia di retribuzione base annua o fascia di retribuzione base oraria:**$69,600.00 - $124,950.00**Tipo di compenso:**Stipendio**Idoneo per l’incentivo**No**Idoneo alla commissione sulle vendite**No**Dichiarazione di esclusione di responsabilità**Ci impegniamo a offrire una retribuzione competitiva per questa posizione, adattata a una varietà di fattori.
