The Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive ID Intern to manage daily prototyping tasks, bringing PD documentation up to speed, & provide horsepower to the creation of new products. This role will be critical in helping the product development continue to innovate at Woof & support other teams like sales and creative.


The ideal candidate has experience with CAD, making 3D prototypes & has had another design internship, with a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork.

What You'll Own

โ€ข Making prototypes - using the laser cutter to create packaging mockups, building models in 3D CAD to printed, foam core mounting sales requests.

โ€ข Creating .pdf drawings of existing products.

โ€ข Maintaining prototyping area - cleaning parts, refilling filament, troubleshooting machines when they go down

โ€ข Ideating on new product innovations, working alongside the design director to bring early ideas to life.

โ€ข Helping the product development team move to the new space


What You'll Bring to the Table

โ€ข Currently enrolled in an Industrial Design program.

โ€ข A strong portfolio showcasing your design process, sketching, and 3D modeling skills.

โ€ข Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360).

โ€ข Proficiency with 3D printing and prototyping.

โ€ข Ability to convert CAD into .pdf drawings


Bonus Points If You Have...

โ€ข Experience in Solidworks

โ€ข Proficiency with Keyshot

โ€ข Ability to troubleshoot Bambu printers

โ€ข An excellent work ethic & willingness to roll up your sleeves when needed

What We Offer

โ€ข Hybrid work environment (2-3 days in office)

โ€ข Schedule of 32 hours a week, 3 months to start, preferably on September 1, 2026
