- Develop product designs to meet performance, regulatory, quality and cost requirements.
- Review and understand the technical feasibility of product and internal requirements.
- Lead VAVE activities to evaluate process improvements and cost reductions. Implement subsequent product design changes.
- Design and select robust and cost-effective components and develop engineering specifications.
- Complete system integration tasks including engineering design, engineering specifications, support creation of layouts and design reviews.
- Support engineering teams including engineers, designers, lab technicians
- Develop laboratory test plans and analyze test data to ensure product performance and quality.
- Create and manage BOM structures in a PLM system
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in an Engineering discipline.
- 5+ years experience leading technical aspects of product design projects, validation testing, implementation, and root cause analysis.
- Deliver technical designs and lead design reviews to meet project and product requirements.
