Position Summary

The Product Coordinator is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Supply Chain Operations team providing outstanding customer service to ensure MultiCare patients, families and visitors have the best possible nutritional health care experiences in support of our organizational values. You will demonstrate your ability to collaborate as a team member with physicians, clinical dietitians, nursing staff, and others. You will apply your enthusiastic, supply and food-centric attitude in the performance of a variety of routine functions from processing orders, preparing menu modifications and performing expiration date maintenance for your assigned area.
Depending on assigned location, you may be required to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. and operate a non-electric pallet jack at a receiving dock with open doors to changing weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and inventories stock supplies
  • Verifies materials and receipts documentation against purchase order
  • Inputs purchase order receipts; coordinates with Purchasing to resolve purchase order or receipt discrepancies
  • Packages, and processes supplies and materials being returned to vendors or other facilities and coordinates shipping location
  • Orders supplies, prepares packaged food items, ensures proper food safety and sanitation standards are met, and maintain refrigerated and freezer stock
  • Ensures all food items are rotated, storeroom, walk-in coolers and walk-in freezer are clean and food safety complaint

Requirements:

  • Two (2) years of any combination of cook/food service/purchasing experience
  • Washington State Food handlers Card
  • Basic computer knowledge preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $21.68 - $31.20 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
