Job description

Pay: $120,000 - $160,000 annually.

The Role

The Product Manager – Valves is responsible for growing CSI’s valve and valve spares program. The product manager is responsible for growing customer relationships, both internal and external. This role must establish and maintain effective relationships and communication with all CSI employees.

They will manage CSI’s valve portfolio, speak into the product mix, work with leadership on pricing strategy, provide technical & service support, and be responsible the categories’ system & data integrity. Understanding and perpetuation of the overall company vision is critical to success in this role. Detailed and additional responsibilities can be found in the following sections.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage and grow CSI's valve and valve spare product portfolio through strategic product management, pricing, supplier partnerships, and market development initiatives.
  • Develop and execute product, sales, and business strategies that increase revenue, profitability, and CSI's competitive position in the valve market.
  • Provide technical expertise and application support to sales, engineering, project management, inside sales, and customers to ensure successful product selection and project execution.
  • Maintain accurate product, pricing, and technical data across ERP, CRM, website, and other business systems while ensuring overall data integrity and supporting digital product content.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to support business objectives, customer satisfaction, and CSI's overall value proposition.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, sales performance, and key business metrics to identify growth opportunities, recommend continuous improvements, and achieve assigned revenue and margin goals.

Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's Degree, in Industrial Technology or Engineering emphasis, preferred
  • Equipment sales experience in food and/or pharmaceutical industries
  • Exposure to estimating design and application of process equipment
  • Experience with sales management
  • Proficiency in computer OS and MS office suite

Work Environment / Physical Requirements
