What is a product analytics manager?

Product Analytics Managers are professionals responsible for analyzing data related to a company's products to inform decision-making and strategy. They help teams understand user behavior, product performance, and market trends by leveraging data analysis and visualization tools. Their insights guide product development, feature prioritization, and business growth. Typically, they collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers, and business stakeholders to ensure that data-driven decisions are at the heart of product strategy.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a product analytics manager?

To thrive as a Product Analytics Manager, you need expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and product strategy, often backed by a degree in a quantitative field and experience in analytics roles. Proficiency with analytics tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, and product analytics platforms like Mixpanel or Amplitude is typically required. Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills help translate data insights into actionable product improvements. These skills are essential for driving data-informed decisions that enhance product performance and align with business goals.

Product Analytics Managers often encounter challenges in translating complex data findings into actionable insights that resonate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Balancing immediate product needs with long-term strategic goals can require prioritizing certain analyses and recommendations over others. Additionally, ensuring data quality and consistency across multiple sources can be demanding, especially in fast-paced environments where product features and user behaviors evolve quickly. Job description

Description:

About us:

Momentus provides industry-leading event and venue management software to customers in over 50 countries around the world, serving thousands of customers that power millions of events. In the age of digital transformation, our comprehensive platform offers event professionals leading-edge SaaS technology that provides a 360 view of their business, allowing them to cut costs, save time, and increase revenue. Momentus technology powers top shows around the world, famous museums, global convention centers, performing arts venues, professional sports arenas, and other unique venues. Our client list includes The Apollo Theatre, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Harvard University, Portland'5 Centers for the Arts, the Javitz Center, and St. Louis Art Museum. Some of our global clients include: ExCel London, Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, Omanexpo, the China National Convention Center, the Porsche Experience Center in Germany and the Sydney Opera House.

This Product Manager will own our "Elite" line. Elite is our fast-deploy product line and our fastest-growing one. It's cloud-based event management for venues that want a unified system without a long, bespoke build. Pre-built templates, standardized industry-tested logic, mobile-first operations, integrated payments, and a real integration ecosystem that is designed to get customers running in weeks rather than months.

Elite serves nearly every anchor segment we support including stadiums, arenas, performing arts centers, conference centers, museums and cultural institutions, higher ed, K-12, and corporate campuses — across 50+ countries. It's the answer for single venues and mid-sized venue groups that want automation without enterprise-scale complexity.

We're hiring the person to run it.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the Product Line including strategy, roadmap, go-to-market, and customer relationships for Elite. GM altitude, IC seat.
  • The next-gen customer portal. Our top build is a rebuilt customer-facing booking, ordering, and payments portal on our modern platform. It's a real B2B2C surface with a real revenue thesis behind it. You'll shape it end-to-end.
  • The product-led motion. Elite's scale means every packaging, onboarding, and activation improvement compounds. If you like moving time-to-value materially down, or making the product sell itself, this is where that matters.
  • International Reach. Elite sells in 50+ countries. EMEA localization is already delivered. You'll ship for a global base from day one, not retrofit later.
  • The full stack of customer workflows. Sales and booking, event planning, operations execution, finance, and analytics. Elite unifies them. You'll set priorities across the whole surface, not just one module.

Requirements:
  • 4-5 years in B2B SaaS product management, or a close adjacent path. If your depth is B2C with strong product-led-growth chops, we want to talk to you.
  • You've owned a product line, or a substantial product surface, at GM altitude. Even if the title said PM. You've made the trade-offs, carried the outcome, and can tell the story from strategy to result.
  • You can tie your work to outcomes. Name the number, name your specific individual contribution to moving it. This is the one gate we won't move on.
  • Ownership and autonomy. You proactively read a market, a customer base, and an opportunity landscape without waiting to be told what to do.
  • A cross-functional champion. Sales, Services, Marketing, and Customer Success are your partners, not your customers. You lead across them, not just alongside them.
  • AI-native in daily practice. Claude or equivalent tools live inside your workflow — feedback analysis, PRD drafting, competitive reads. You have opinions.
  • Customer-obsessed cadence. Regular contact with real users and buyers is how you form judgment, not something you do when there's time.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with product-led-growth playbooks: Mixpanel / Amplitude / Heap / Pendo, in-app guides, self-service onboarding.
  • SMB / mid-market pricing and packaging experience.
  • International-market GTM experience.
  • Venue, event, or hospitality software background.
  • Experience with integrated-payments products or an integration/marketplace ecosystem.

Important Notice on Location Eligibility:

This is a U.S.-based remote role. However, due to regulatory requirements, we are only able to consider candidates who reside in U.S. states that do not currently mandate salary disclosure in job postings.

Candidates residing in California, or other states with active pay transparency laws will not be considered at this time.
