Job Description

The Role

We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering products to our valued customers while maintaining excellent quality and service standards and ensuring timely deliveries throughout the Seattle metropolitan area.

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Complete daily vehicle inspection and safety checks before starting delivery routes
  • Check orders at the warehouse for accuracy and quality
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles according to prescribed safety standards
  • Transport and deliver products to customers following driver created routes and delivery schedules
  • Verify delivery information and obtain customer signatures for all completed deliveries
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with product quality and accuracy on-site
  • Operate material handling equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks when necessary
  • Report any delivery issues, vehicle problems, or customer concerns to the office
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating company vehicles
  • Process customer returns according to company procedures
  • Assist in other departments when necessary
Qualifications

Desired Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid Washington State driver's license with a clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Physical ability to lift and move items weighing up to 75 pounds repeatedly
  • Proven experience in safely operating delivery vehicles
  • Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems and delivery tracking applications
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Basic math skills for processing delivery documentation
  • Knowledge of Seattle metropolitan area streets and routes
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions
  • Smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking and communication

Preferred Qualifications:
