POSITION SUMMARY:
The Produce Clerk will be friendly and a team player. The individual will have to ensure that the produce area is well maintained and running efficiently. Additionally, the Produce Clerk will be the first point of contact with customers by providing them with information on their produce.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Provide exceptional service and ensure the freshest product is available to customers;
* Address inquiries and assist customers with location of items throughout the produce department;
* Receive product deliveries and ensure accuracy of items;
* Stock, rotate, and organize items on shelves;
* Maintain clean shelves, racks, and aisles of store;
* Provide flexibility by helping in any area in order to support store needs.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK CONDITIONS:
The physical demands and work conditions below represent those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Some requirements may be modified to accommodate individuals with disabilities:
WALKING: Continuously, throughout the day, while moving about the store and obtaining product from the warehouse;
STANDING: Continuously, throughout the shift while stocking product;
