To support this mission, Syngenta's Indirect Procurement team is seeking an Indirect Procurement Business Partner in Madrid, Spain. This role will support the delivery of indirect procurement strategies and sourcing activities across all categories in Spain and Portugal, working closely with business leaders and Category Managers.
Accountabilities
- Deploy Category and Sub-Category strategies in the country, ensuring savings and benefits are fully realised by aligning Procurement Business Partner and Category Management teams.
- Act as the primary procurement contact for site and country management teams, ensuring awareness and active support of procurement policies, processes, and tools, while keeping Indirect Procurement informed of local challenges, opportunities, and priorities.
- Design and execute tailored procurement solutions when business requirements fall outside existing channels or strategies - including sourcing events, supplier evaluation and selection, contracting, and ongoing contract management.
- Manage the Ariba savings pipeline consistently and accurately to drive delivery against agreed targets, ensuring full compliance with relevant procurement policies and processes.
- Promote Indirect Procurement achievements and deliver agreed savings within the country, with no adverse impact on quality or timeline requirements.
- Travel up +/- 10% within the territory will be required.
- Full time role based in Madrid, Spain.
