At Hurlburt Heating, AC, Plumbing & Electrical, our technicians rely on having the right materials at the right time. That's where you come in.
Since 1959, Hurlburt has been a trusted name in residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services. We're a growing company looking for a Materials & Procurement Coordinator who enjoys organization, logistics, vendor relationships, and supporting a team.
This role combines purchasing, inventory management, and warehouse coordination to ensure our technicians have the parts and materials they need to serve our customers efficiently.
This position is critical to keeping our technicians efficient and our customers taken care of.
What You'll Do
Procurement & Vendor Coordination
  • Place stock orders for HVAC and plumbing inventory
  • Order special-order parts for technicians
  • Maintain the full purchase order lifecycle from order placement through delivery
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships
  • Work with suppliers to expedite parts and maintain competitive pricing
  • Receive shipments and stock materials or stage parts for upcoming jobs
  • Perform cycle counts and inventory audits
  • Monitor inventory levels and product usage
  • Analyze item velocity to help maintain optimal stock levels
Warehouse Operations
  • Unload deliveries and organize incoming shipments
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks
  • Maintain a clean, organized warehouse
  • Stage materials and equipment for technicians and upcoming jobs

A Typical Day Might Include
  • Receiving a shipment of HVAC parts and stocking inventory
  • Ordering materials for upcoming plumbing installations
  • Working with a vendor to locate a hard-to-find part for a technician
  • Running cycle counts on frequently used inventory items
