Description
We are seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to support procurement and subcontracting operations within a manufacturing environment. This individual will serve as a key partner to manufacturing sites, supply chain teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure materials and subcontracting activities are executed efficiently through SAP.Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end procurement and purchasing activities within SAP.- Create, maintain, and monitor purchase orders to support manufacturing operations.- Execute and oversee subcontracting processes, including material planning and supplier coordination.- Partner with manufacturing sites, planners, suppliers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to ensure continuity of supply.- Analyze purchasing and inventory challenges and develop solutions to prevent disruptions.- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and established workflows.- Monitor supplier performance and support issue resolution related to deliveries, quality, and inventory.- Drive process improvements and recommend efficiencies within procurement operations.- Support reporting, data analysis, and purchasing metrics as needed.- May provide guidance or mentorship to junior procurement staff.
