We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement and Inventory Analyst to join our Logistics and Purchasing team.

Employment Status: Temporary Full-Time Duration:  September 2027

Hours of Work:  Monday-Friday 8AM - 4PM (EST), Excluding statutory holidays.Location: Hennick Humber Hospital, Wilson Site (Onsite)Labour Group: Non-UnionReporting Relationship: Director, Procurement, Logistics and MailroomHourly Rate: $40.701-$50.907/hr

Procurement Analytics

- Analyze purchasing and spend data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and sourcing strategies.- Develop and maintain spend analysis reports by supplier, category, department- Monitor procurement performance metrics, including purchase order cycle times, savings achieved, contract compliance, and supplier performance.- Support strategic sourcing initiatives through market, supplier, and cost analysis.- Prepare reports and presentations for management and executive leadership.Assist in the development and monitoring of procurement policies, procedures, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

ERP / Supply Chain Systems Support & Maintenance

- Support the ongoing maintenance, administration, and optimization of the ERP Supply Chain system and related applications.- Coordinate system upgrades, enhancements, testing, and issue resolution with IT and system vendors.- Identify opportunities to improve and automate Supply Chain processes through system enhancements.Provide system support, documentation, and training to Supply Chain users.

Inventory & Logistics Analytics

- Analyze inventory levels, stock movement, consumption patterns, and inventory turnover rates.- Monitor inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies requiring investigation.- Support forecasting and demand planning activities to optimize inventory levels.- Analyze supplier lead times and their impact on inventory availability and operational requirements.Identify opportunities to improve warehouse and logistics processes through data-driven recommendations.

Contract & Vendor Performance Reporting

- Monitor contract utilization, expiry dates, spending against agreements, and compliance with contract terms.- Track vendor performance metrics, including delivery performance, quality, responsiveness, and service levels.- Support vendor management and performance review processes.

Stakeholder / system Support

- Collaborate with procurement staff, contract officers, logistics personnel, finance staff, and operational departments.- Respond to internal requests for procurement, inventory, and logistics information.

- Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications: 

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science or a related field required.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), including system support, maintenance, reporting, or related functionality, required.
  • Procurement or inventory management certificates preferred.
  • 5 years of relevant experience analyst experience preferred.
  • Experience in procurement, supply chain, or business operations within a computerized environment required.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel and Access, required.
  • Knowledge of medical products preferred.
  • Experience with project coordination preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment required.
