Job description

The Assistant Procurement and Maintenance Technician plays a dual role in supporting both procurement operations and facility maintenance. This position assists with purchasing activities, order tracking, inventory management, and receiving deliveries, while also providing hands-on support to maintain a clean, safe, and functional workplace.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of administrative coordination and hands-on technical work, contributing to smooth operations across our office and warehouse environments.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Support
  • Assist the Procurement Specialist with sourcing, ordering, and tracking materials, supplies, and equipment
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries for accuracy and condition
  • Coordinate distribution of materials to appropriate departments or storage areas
  • Maintain accurate records of orders, receipts, and inventory levels
  • Communicate with vendors regarding order status, discrepancies, and delivery issues
  • Support inventory organization and assist with periodic counts
  • Facility Maintenance Support
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and general upkeep
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized office and warehouse environment
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for repairs as needed
  • Support facilityrelated projects such as equipment setup, furniture moves, and workspace adjustments
  • Assist with seasonal maintenance activities (e.g., snow removal coordination, HVAC filter changes)
