What you will do:

At QXO, procurement is evolving into a disciplined, technology-enabled operating model. We are seeking a Senior Manager, Procurement Operations - P2P (Procure to Pay) to own the operational execution and performance of the Procure to Pay lifecycle.

This role operates through cross-functional influence, platform partnership, and disciplined performance management to ensure predictable, measurable P2P outcomes.You will partner closely with Procurement, Finance, AP, Engineering, and PMO teams to drive measurable improvement in cycle time, compliance, automation, and service delivery. This is an execution-focused leadership role designed for a high-growth, fast-moving environment.

Operational Excellence & Service Delivery

  • Lead day-to-day P2P operational execution, ensuring disciplined performance and SLA adherence.
  • Oversee and hold external service providers accountable to performance standards.
  • Act as the escalation point for operational, compliance, and workflow issues.
  • Establish and monitor procurement metrics and KPIs.

Process Standardization & Transformation Execution

  • Stabilize and standardize P2P workflows.
  • Ensure operational readiness and sustained adoption during Procurement system and ERP implementations.
  • Identify manual processes suitable for automation.
  • Challenge inconsistent practices and drive disciplined buying behaviors.

Compliance, Controls & Governance

  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and delegated authority policies.
  • Maintain vendors master data integrity and fraud prevention controls.
  • Partner with Finance and Internal Audit to maintain audit readiness.
  • Promote consistent enforcement of purchasing compliance standards.
  • Ensure operational and control issues are escalated and resolved in a timely manner.

Change Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Lead operational change management efforts tied to system and process improvements.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders to drive adoption and performance accountability.
  • Provide structured operational reporting and performance updates for leadership.
  • Operate with calm authority in a high-growth, evolving environment.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years in P2P or procurement operations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end P2P lifecycle.
  • Experience managing and/or engaging with outsourced/external service providers.
  • Proficiency with ERP and P2P systems (e.g., Synertrade, Coupa, Ariba, Oracle).
  • Strong operational performance management and KPI discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating in high-growth or transformation environments.
  • Proven track record improving measurable operational metrics.
  • Experience supporting system implementations or process redesign initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls and vendor master governance.
  • This role operates in a matrixed environment and requires the ability to drive accountability and results without direct authority.
