Procurement Manager
The Procurement Manager will oversee purchasing, supplier relationships, logistics, and inventory management within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in procurement and supply chain management, with knowledge of the meat industry and international sourcing preferred.
Responsibilities:
* Develop purchasing forecasts and procurement strategies based on sales requirements, historical usage, inventory levels, and market trends
* Manage supplier relationships and sourcing activities while monitoring market conditions, pricing, and industry developments to support business objectives
* Oversee import logistics, documentation, customs clearance, and compliance requirements while ensuring timely communication of incoming shipments to plant operations
* Partner with sales, production, inventory, and quality teams to maintain product availability, provide market insights, and support efficient supply chain operations
Required Skills & Experience:
* 5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain within the meat or food processing industry
* Bachelor's degree is Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
* Must be able to work Monday to Friday to 8am to 4pm
* Knowledge of SQF, Excel, and ERP systems
