About the Opportunity:
The Procurement Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the organization acquires the right solutions efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with enterprise standards. In this role, you'll manage the full procurement lifecycle, partnering closely with IT, Finance, Legal, Information Security, and key business stakeholders to validate requirements, optimize vendor relationships, and maintain strong operational discipline.
You will lead sourcing activities, support contract negotiations, manage vendor documentation, and help drive cost-saving initiatives across our portfolio. A significant part of the role includes ensuring governance and compliance: supporting due diligence reviews, maintaining audit-ready documentation, and ensuring procurement practices align with legal, security, and regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do (Role Responsibilities):
Procurement Execution
  • Manage end-to-end procurement of goods and services that support the Enterprise
  • Create and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders in accordance with procurement policies.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to validate requirements, budgets, and approvals.
  • Ensure purchases align with approved IT standards, architecture, and vendor strategies

Vendor and Contract Management
  • Support sourcing events, RFIs, RFPs, and vendor evaluations.
  • Assist in contract negotiations, including pricing, terms, and service-level agreements.
  • Maintain vendor records, contract repositories, and renewal calendars.
  • Assist in tracking vendor performance against contractual obligations and SLAs.

Financial and Cost Management
  • Obtain competitive quotes and perform price comparisons.
  • Support cost-saving initiatives through consolidation, renegotiation, and vendor optimization.
  • Ensure alignment with approved cost centers and financial controls.

Governance, Compliance, and Risk
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with enterprise policies, legal requirements, and audit standards.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Information Security, and Compliance teams during vendor onboarding.
  • Support due diligence activities such as security assessments, data privacy reviews, and financial risk checks.
  • Maintain documentation required for internal and external audits.

Process and Operations Support
  • Support lifecycle activities including renewals, terminations, and asset tracking.
  • Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and automation.

What You Bring:
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 3-7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management, preferably supporting multiple categories.
  • Experience with enterprise procurement or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba, Workday, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Preferred
  • Experience in large enterprise or regulated industries (e.g., life sciences, finance, healthcare, manufacturing).
  • Knowledge of sourcing and due diligence governance, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Professional certification such as:
    • CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management)
    • CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional)
    • ITIL Foundation (optional)

What We Offer:
  • Dallas, TX based with a hybrid (in-office / work-from-home) schedule
  • Top Medical/Dental/Vision offerings
  • FSA/HSA
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Competitive salary, 401(k) with company match
  • Additional health and wellness benefits and perks
  • Flexible and trusting environment where you'll feel empowered to do your best work
