Procurement Specialist, Construction & Facilities

Location: Central or Mountain Time Zone Preferred

Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location. This position may also be eligible for an annual bonus and comprehensive benefits package.

World Fuel supports a growing network of Cardlock and Retail fuel locations across North America. As our footprint continues to expand, we are seeking a Procurement Specialist to support construction, facilities, maintenance, and contractor sourcing activities across our site network.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in procurement, purchasing, vendor management, facilities coordination, construction support, or project administration who enjoys working in a fast-paced and evolving environment. The successful candidate will partner closely with project managers, operations teams, contractors, and suppliers to help ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget.

What You'll DoProcurement & Vendor Management
  • Source contractors, suppliers, and service providers for construction, maintenance, and facility projects.
  • Obtain and evaluate bids, proposals, and pricing from vendors.
  • Support vendor selection by comparing pricing, capabilities, service levels, and project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with contractors and suppliers across multiple regions.
  • Coordinate vendor onboarding activities and ensure required compliance documentation is maintained.
Construction & Project Support
  • Partner with project managers to support construction, maintenance, and capital improvement initiatives.
  • Track procurement activities and help ensure materials and services are delivered according to project schedules.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to help resolve project-related issues.
  • Support cost management efforts by assisting with project purchasing and budget tracking.
Contract & Documentation Administration
  • Assist with purchase order creation, processing, and tracking.
  • Support contract administration, renewals, and vendor documentation management.
  • Maintain contractor insurance certificates, service agreements, and compliance records.
