The Procurement Manager oversees an organization's supply chain, sourcing goods and services while optimizing costs, quality, and vendor performance. He/She develops purchasing strategies, negotiates contracts, manages supplier relationships, and mitigates risks to ensure operational continuity. The Procurement Manager's key duties include analyzing spending, ensuring compliance, and leading procurement operation.
Job Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Establish the company's procurement program; conduct assessment and analysis, and define structure, procedures and standard practices
  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost; ensure supplier performance and quality ratings
  • Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure favorable deals
  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency, including analyzing spend data; ensure cost savings
  • Risk Mitigation: Develop contingency plans to prevent supply shortages and logistics delays; manage purchase order cycle times
  • Compliance and Reporting: Manage compliance with company policies and legal regulations; track and analyze inventory turnover rates
  • Team Leadership: Supervising the procurement department and coordinating with internal departments like finance and operations

Job Qualifications
