The Opportunity 

The Global Procurement Manager role provides a unique and entrepreneurial opportunity to collaborate globally with peers and cross-functional leaders, developing business cases and influencing category strategies.  Collaboration with functional/Business management is frequent and required, therefore excellent communication skills are paramount.  In addition, this role will require the ability to understand fleet operations and influence key decision makers, particularly across sectors and international business units. 

The Fleet Repair & Maintenance (R&M) Global Procurement Manager for Fleet Parts is responsible for the execution of sourcing strategies for spare parts and operating supplies across our global food and beverage fleet.  This position will lead the North America fleet parts procurement agenda while simultaneously leading the global fleet parts procurement category across NA, LATAM, EMEA, and APAC. This role will partner with PepsiCo’s fleet COEs, supply chain leaders, and local procurement teams to develop relationships understanding objectives and addressing their requirements within the global parts category strategies.  The largest focus will be on spare parts and supplies optimizing what we buy, partnering with the fleet capital team leveraging capital acquisitions for parts value, and developing and implementing technology capabilities for future value.


Responsibilities
  • Category Execution & Support: Develop and execute fleet sourcing strategies in partnership with fleet operations and sector procurement leads. Contribute insights, analysis, and recommendations to drive cost, service, and operational improvements across the parts fleet categories globally.
  • Sourcing & Contracting: Lead RFPs, negotiations, and contract implementations. Partner with sector and local procurement and operational teams to ensure contracts are commercially sound, operationally viable, and aligned with regional strategies.
  • Supplier Management & Performance: Manage NA and enterprise supplier relationship. Track supplier performance against established KPIs, identify gaps, and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost, service, quality, and innovation.  Develop and execute supplier engagement plans.
  • Supply Assurance & Risk Management: Support supply assurance plans to ensure continuity of parts and services.  Proactively identify risks and escalate issues with recommendations to mitigate service or supply disruptions.
  • Productivity & Value Delivery: Deliver annual productivity targets within assigned scope by executing sourcing initiatives, leveraging scale where applicable, and supporting multi-year productivity pipelines developed at the category level.  Identify opportunities for cash flow improvements and total cost of ownership advantages.
  • AOP Support & Tracking: Build multi-year AOP plans for fleet operating expense.  Identify end to end opportunities to deliver productivity, reduce costs, and deliver end to end cost strategy.  Contribute to the development and execution of category AOP commitments. Track performance versus plan, provide variance analysis, and partner with sector leads to support delivery of AOP targets.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross functional and cross sector stakeholders to align sourcing activities with fleet operational strategies and business priorities tied to the global R&M sourcing strategy.  Communicate sourcing strategies linked to business priorities.
  • Industry & Market Insights: Monitor global market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry developments within assigned categories. Share insights that shape sourcing decisions and support risk mitigation and innovation efforts.
  • Continuous Improvement & Process Discipline: Apply standard sourcing processes, tools, and governance models. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, analytics, and ways of working within the category team.
  • Leadership & Influence: Demonstrate strong collaboration and influencing skills across a matrix organization. Effectively communicate recommendations, progress, and risks to peers and leaders, escalating as appropriate.
  • End to End Management: Lead assigned categories from end to end including strategy, sourcing, negotiations, contracting, supplier relationship management, and realization of financial operational results. 

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $110,700 - $185,250.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

  • Proven ability to develop and influence recommendations, and drive decisions quickly, especially in situations without direct authority 
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Travel 10%
